Fajar Adi Nugroho, S.Kom., M.M.

54b615d0d367d.jpgFajar Adi Nugroho was born in Jakarta. He is one of the young Indonesian front liner bassist, a virtuoso who played with many local and international artists ranging from Pop, Jazz, Soul to Blues styles in various local and international scenes.
 

He learnt to play the electric bass from Indonesian bass guru: Indro Harjodikoro and now serve as Indro’s musical partner in his Jazz Fusion band: Indro Harjodikoro and the Fingers.

 

Fajar’s Musical experiences spans from the year 2008 until present, he has perform in the oldest Jazz Festival in Indonesia: Universitas Indonesia’s Jazz Goes to campus (Jakarta, Indonesia), Java Jazz Festival (Jakarta, Indonesia), Java Soulnation (Jakarta, Indonesia), MuzEnergo Music Festival 2011 (Dubna, Russia), Petro Jazz Festival 2011 & 2012 (St. Petersburg, Russia), Indro Harjodikoro and the Fingers Solo Concert in Protvino and Moscow Russia, World Youth Jazz Festival (Malaysia), Asean Brass Explosion Festival (Singapore), meanwhile many of the big names he have collaborate with are: Erwin Gutawa, Indro harjodikoro, Tohpati, Indra Lesmana, Idang Rasjidi, Dira Sugandi, Tompi, Jemima, Balawan, BiFan, Nidji, Magenta Eleven, Boogiemen, Yudis Dwikorana, Noorsaid bersaudara, Jamie Aditya, Jeremy Todjman (France), Gino Banks (India), Lewis Pragasam (Malaysia), TalaFaral (Madagascar), James Morrison (Australia). Recently Fajar is busy with his new project: Art of Tree, Bass Heroes and officially joining Gugun Blues Shelter.
